Google vice president and Greater China President Kai-fu Lee, in a recent press interview, said that according to the software installation and un-installation records on the Google Web site, China's PCs re-install Windows system software about every three months, according to Xinhua Net.

Kai-fu Lee said that a major reason for re-installing system software is that rogue software and viruses render the machines useless and force users to re-install.
